Defective Luminaires on Site
Defective Luminaires ?
In the unlikely event that a defective luminaire is received, it must be reported to our Customer Services Team within 72 hours of receipt.
Please see the terms of our Warranty by clicking here.
If you have delivered our luminaires to a site and a contractor reports to you that there may be defective fittings, PLEASE DO NOT INSTRUCT him to fix any "defective" fittings without consulting first with us as this will void the Warranty that we offer you. We have an existing system in place that will give support and service to your contractor-customer and your call to our Customer Services Team will trigger the start of this support system.
Century Lighting will in no way be liable for any costs incurred on or off site without prior written arrangements made with our Customer Services Team. We will give our Customers absolute back-up in every way we can according to the terms as stipulated herein.
We stress, in advance, that we do not accept any responsibility for expenses that contractors have on site such as electrician's fees, equipment hire, time taken from place of employment, fuel consumption, etc unless there is a clear understanding between our Customer and our Customer Services Team - all confirmed in writing.
Following the above parameters will enable any report of "defective fittings" to be handled in an efficient and fair manner.
