About Nile St. School

The project is part of Hackney Council’s wider schools building programme, to ensure there are enough school places for local children. Their borough-wide programme will see two new secondary schools built and a replacement, state of the art New Regent’s College built here in Nile Street.
This development is going to be mixed-use, so as well as building an improved school, we will be building residential apartments, to help fund the school building programme, making a £12m contribution to the council’s social housing regeneration budget.

Century Lighting and Nile St. School

We are currently employed by HE Simm to develop the lighting design for both residential building and the new school including all external and façade lighting.
