This seven storey, 172,000 sq ft office building has retail on the ground floor while the whole of the commercial space is let to international professional services firm PwC. The current 1,900 strong PwC Birmingham team will have grown to over 2,200 when it moves into the building to create a new regional headquarters.

Century lighting were asked to provide a lighting solution for the new office spaces at One Chamberlain Square. Working alongside the client and the M&E services company Briggs and Forrester Century Lighting implemented the following solutions to various areas across all floors of the building:

 

• Linear Inline solution using Tridonic Dali controlled integral drivers and Tridonic G4 Linear boards for all open office areas.

• Canal fitting to main passage ways on level three.

• Indirect Liteline to all toilet and lobby areas.

• RGBW Colour change Mini Inline to door architraves on level three.

• Architectural LED Track spot and linear track luminaires to furnish non office areas on all floors

• LED panels for Barrisols to lift lobby areas

 

The completed project stands out in the centre of Birmingham as a flagship office block and Century Lighting are very proud to have been part of the team.
